Jesse Wayne - The Rifleman

Jesse Wayne appeared in twenty-three episodes of The Rifleman as Johnny Crawford's stuntman.
Not sure who doubled for Johnny in the episode of 'Requiem at Mission Springs' but he is a possibility, especially after that bad tumble Mark took.

Jesse Wayne appeared in over 500 TV productions and feature films, in addition to hundreds of live stunt shows.  His career began in the early days of Los Angeles' live television, when he was eight years old.

He worked in just about every TV Western of the 1960's and doubled for several young actors including Kurt Russell in The Travels of Jamie McPheeters ― Bobby Diamond in Lassie.

  He doubled for small men, women, and children.

In 1992, the Stuntmen's Association of Motion Pictures presented Jesse Wayne with "A Lifetime Membership in Recognition of your Accomplishments and Dedication."   SAMP was formed in 1961, Jesse was a charter member, served as secretary and/or treasurer for fourteen years and Board Member for eighteen years.
