Buyer Beware!  "Are you thinking of buying "The Rifleman" DVD's.....?"

EBAY WARNING!
Note: Beware of unscrupulous EBAY dealers declaring The Rifleman is in the PUBLIC DOMAIN!! It is certainly NOT.
I have verified this with LGL Productions and also their attorney Steve Gardner.

The Rifleman is copyrighted by the respective
producers (LGL Productions) and The McCain Ranch is here for entertainment purposes only.

I STRONGLY hope that you will support the producers & family members and purchase the "Original DVD's."

I'm sure by now most of you are aware that "The Rifleman" DVD's are limited and are currently OOP!
(But we fans hope not for long!)
P
lease be careful and make sure you are buying the originals by MPI.

Hi,  My wife bought the 168 episodes of The Rifleman, she dealt with TVAddicts.com and the total cost was to be $132.98.  On her credit card statement it shows as WebDVD for $140.12.  We never received the items and I tried like everyone else to get in touch with them with no luck.  My wife is talking to her credit card company as we speak to try and get our money back.  The next thing everyone should be thinking about is credit card fraud.  These fraudulent companies now have our credit card number, name and address. What should we do to protect ourselves.  I told my wife she should have her credit card company change her credit card number and close out the old account before these fraudulent companies start purchasing items.  Please advise everyone on this and you are welcome to post this to your sight. Hello,
I'm sure you have been asked this question a lot of time. Where can I purchase all of the ones they now have release. You have done a superb job on this website, this is the best one I have seen by far. My brother purchased the whole set from dvddonkey, he said it is so bad, he has called the FBI in Memphis, will have to wait and see if anything happens. He purchased this for my mother, and we would like to get the ad much as we can of the real series. If by chance you can save me some time of searching the net it would much be appreciated, my mothers health is failing and we just would like to make sure she can see what is out there. I do thank you so very much for your time. RG  Rialto, CA.  posted 2/1/08

I ordered from tvpast.com it took 3 months to receive an order of a bunch of burned DVDs.  It was clear they had been recorded from an old VCR even had commercials on some.  Some you couldn't even make out the faces.   I was able to get a return address to send back to the company.  Hopefully will get a refund.  Eric

I hate to say  it but I got ripped off for Christmas.  I ordered the complete set from DVDPLANET for $109.00 even and have yet to receive them or an e-mail from them.  So for us whom have loved the Rifleman for years
we are just out of look for the time being and as far as my money the odds are I will never see this money again.  Thanks for letting me vent. Now if someone says they have it I wouldn't know if the did or didn't.
Thanks....Scott  posted 3/3/08

Hi Margie,
Thank you for your website! I attempted to purchase the Rifleman DVD Collection for my Dad for Christmas 2007. I had the unfortunate opportunity to order the collection from DVD Avenue. I, of course, never received the order after many attempts to contact the company. As of today, I received the credit from my bank after disputing the charges.
In the mean time, I understand from your website that only 120 episodes have been released. I would like to purchase those for my Dad and would love your suggestion as to the best (and reputable) source to buy them?!
Anything you can help with would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!  Ava
