I wish I would have saved these from the beginning!Margie, Just wanted to send you a note of thanks for mailing out birthday cards to my brother, Anthony and husband, Artie, this month (June).
My brother was completely surprised & wanted to know all the details. He said he would shoe me his card, but he was keeping it!My husband was also surprised, so he says, but I think he probably knew I wouldn't get one for Anthony and not him. My grandson is still trying to figure out where they actually came form.
Thanks again!!! Carol DM
*Thank you carol for the stamps you sent to help with sending cards to others. Much appreciated!Dear Margie, Thanks, for the birthday Card, for Cindy. It didn't arrive belated, it was on time!
I took my wife to brunch bought her a Dairy Queen cake and sent her shopping - at Hattie's of course! After all that, the card came! The folks here in Pittsburg know that Lucas rides every evening at 7 p.m. He actually rides twice a day and has weekends off!
Thanks, again - Keep ridin'—George XXXXXXXXGeorge then included his birth date, hmmmmm does that mean George would like a card also?
We'll see just what we can do about that! ; ) Thanks George!Linda C. had a birthday card sent to her 9 year old niece in New York. She love "The Rifleman!" When she got her card she called Linda C. and this is what she had to say.....
"Do you know who I got a birthday card from today? Lucas and Mark and some lady in Pennsylvania!"
How cute!I had wonder about those that had family that weren't into The Rifleman, how they would handle it if they wanted a card for themselves/collection? I just gotta tell ya'll about this cute story of someone requesting a birthday card for themselves, love it! It is so neat.....
As pathetic as this is gonna sound, could you please send birthday greetings to ....me.Nobody else to order this for me, so I'm doing it myself. Is this sad or what??? (I'll have a good birthday, but none of my family know to order me a Rifleman card.) Thank you!I also had this lady that had a card sent to her hubby who they both are big Rifleman fans. She wrote me and thanked me for the card and said that her hubby scanned it and sent it to everyone he knew. ; )
Hi Cowgirl, Just a note of thanks for the beautiful birthday card. The "big kid" loved the card from Lucas Boy and the "little guy", Mark. We're both big fans of the Rifleman, and really enjoyed it. Thank you.—AT
My wife ordered a birthday card for me and it was a wonderful surprise! Thanks so much, and thanks for keeping the best TV western going strong with your website. Long Live The Rifleman!—KW
Please tell me how to request a card mailed to my Mom. She loves the Rifleman and watches everyday on cable. She even has my 9 year old daughter looking forward to watching. She asked her Grandma one day while it was on, If the world only had gray and not colors back then. Thanks for all your help. We're so glad we found your web site. God Bless the Rifleman
I told her about doing this for grandma and she said to tell you her birthday is Dec. 3rd and that she likes the Rifleman and wants a birthday card too.
Thank you so much. You have made my day. It's not often I get to be the one that found the most excitable present. They will both be so happy. Thanks again and God Bless you all. AnonymousThank you so much for this generous offer of a birthday card for my Dad, he will be 85 years young and your fantastic website. My Dad is not computer literate but he is aware of your site and loves the Rifleman and 1950/1960 westerns in general. He recently started using a DVD player and I will pass on to him the authorized Rifleman DVDs boxed sets (I bought all 6 sets new when they were first released). The Rifleman is my favorite TV show, too - really! I'm not kidding. I have seen all episodes on TV and the DVD boxed sets at least 5 or 6 times each. I never get tired of them - they are classic. Please continue to keep the Rifleman series going strong on your website - I visit it a couple times a week and always learn something new.
Today My Mom got her card, needless to say she was confused but oh so excited. Never in her wildest dreams would she have come up with a card from her hero! Thank you again for all you do.
Dear Margie, Thank you so much for sending Jerry the birthday card. He loved it!
"Who is Margie? and How did she know?" he asked... I let him wonder
for a while before I let him in on the secret. Lol!—HeatherHi Margie, I just called my father, Mack, to wish him a very happy 85th birthday today, February 9th! He mentioned right away about how surprised and glad he was to receive a birthday card from the McCain ranch and Cowgirl! After asking him if he gave the Pony Express horse some oats in return, I had some explaining to do! We talked about the card and reminisced about the Rifleman and other favorite classic westerns during most of the call. Thanks to you, and the McCain ranch, for taking the time and thoughtful effort.
Since my Dad already has my prized six boxed sets of the Rifleman DVDs to watch (on loan, of course!), the family started another collection for him of several other classic westerns for his birthday gift. (since he's got the hang of using his DVD player by practicing on the Rifleman series). His 85th birthday gifts included seasons 1 & 2 of 'Wanted: Dead or Alive' and seasons 1 & 2 of 'Gunsmoke'. Like my Father, I love the classic western TV series (with the Rifleman being in a class of its own) and hope we will be watching and talking about them for years to come.
Thanks again for the card and for keeping the Rifleman series alive through your excellent Rifleman website. I can't wait until the remaining Rifleman episodes are released on DVD to complete my own collection.Adios Amigos, GregReceived the birthday card yesterday. My wife was very surprised you had sent her a card. She was very impressed by the card and thought it was very well done.
Thanks for sending the card. BruceThis is a great site! My husband faithfully no matter what watches the show from 7-8 pm every week night. He surely will be tickled to receive this card as we all have such fond memories from our past and watching this show brings that child in us to the surface, even if for one hour as he remembers watching it as a kid. Thanks again, BernadetteI wanted to say Thank You for the Card for my son...He was so surprised...We had just gotten homefrom his Birthday party...and I checked the mail and there it was...that card made his 8th Birthday awesome...he was calling everyone and telling them who he got a card from...Thank you so much....Thank you again, Ginger H.Hi Margie, Thank you! My wife got her birthday card last night. She was so puzzled as to whom it was from. She was so surprised! You should have seen her face, she was laughing and blushing. She asked about you and where you were from (Northumberland). I told her about you and your web site. I called her a "cowgirl" now and she laughed (she's Japanese). We had fun visiting your web site and she told me I was going to miss an episode of the Rifleman if I didn't come downstairs.Thank you so very much in making my wife's birthday special. You are terrific.Rifleman rules always!Sincere regards, Mt. T.This is what it is all about.....it's for you.....the fans of "The Rifleman!"
"When you care enough to send the very best." teasin'.....
