Golf Tournaments
Connors was appreciated for his charitable contributions. It has been reported that the Chuck Connors Invitational Golf Tournament has raised over $400,000.00 and the proceeds have gone to Angel View Crippled Children's Foundation. He was active with the United Way and participated in fundraisers for officers wounded in the line of duty.

Although this was not from a golf tournament, but it is a charitable jester, I thought this would fit right in here on this page.....
Lubbock, Texas — A Polio Victim's Pal -- When polio victim Gary Perkins, 6, lay unable to walk or sit up, Chuck (The Rifleman) Connors of TV fame, gave him encouragement to be walking the next time he appeared in Lubbock. That Friday Gary & Chuck were together again -- and Gary was walking. Chuck presented Gary with a replica of his famous rifle.
