Only half an hour, but we loved each minute, a father and his son were the stars in it. Lucas was "Rifleman," and Mark was his son, this show's hero carried no holster gun. During this show, we watched our Dad, especially in parts that got really sad. When Lucas and Mark had ordeals to brace, we'd tears slipping down Dad's face. I'd still see Dad clearly in mind today, as he quickly wiped those tears away. In final scenes, our hearts were tugged, wiping tears as Mark and Lucas hugged. Don't think those tears were weak or wrong, we were proud of family ties so strong. many were troubled in this great land, could use those lessons from "The Rifleman."
