Harlan Warde — Find A Grave

Harlan Warde started in films in 1941 and remained before the cameras until the 1978.  He has starred in  everything imaginable.....Drama, Crime, Comedy, Film-Noir, War, Adventure, Thrillers, Action, Romance, Westerns, Sci-Fi, Mystery, Horror, Musicals, Family and Music.  He played everything from a Lawyer, Police Officer, Military Officer, Reporter, Marshal, Sheriff, Doctor, Chaplin, Bank President and more.  He even was Hoss' prosecuting attorney and was Sheriff Brannon on the TV Western series "The Virginian" (1964-1966).  He also guest starred in "The Untouchables"

I found it rather strange out of all the things Harlan Warde did, he never starred with Chuck before or after "The Rifleman."

John Maysfield Hamilton, President of the North Fork Bank, was first introduced on "The Rifleman" in the episode 'Safe Guard.' This is when North Fork got their first bank and John Hamilton was new to North Fork. 

 I always enjoyed seeing him and wanted to see more of him as we did in the episode of  'Boomerang.'  Lucas teaches a boy how to use a gun, not knowing that the boy plans on killing the banker he believes is responsible for his fathers death.
