involved in The Rifleman. This is just a small tribute to those great
many characters actors.

A-list stars, but they do something many actors don't. They worked all

Chana Eden as Nita Argentez, she was the sister of
The Gaucho.
She was
acting for almost thirty years and thirty three credits to
her name. Her last appearance was in 1987, the movie The
Story of Snow White. She was in a total of four movies
the other three were Remembrance of Love (1982 TV
Movie) ― He Walked Through the Fields (1987) ―
Wind Across the Everglades (1958).

Rifleman.

Barbara Eiler as Mary Phillips, Jesse's wife in
Tin Horn.
Barbara started acting as
a teenager and appeared regularly on the radio programs
The Life of Riley ― A Day in the Life of Dennis Day ― The
Fabulous Dr. Tweedy ― Glamor Manor.
With a total of forty-five credits to
her name Barbara appeared in many series, including Dragnet ― Wagon
Train ― Gunsmoke ― Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color (TV Series) 1960
- 1964 ten times
― The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet (TV Series) 1955 -1956
sixteen times.

Robert Ellenstein as Bart Jamison in
The Photographer.
He's the one who killed Whiteside and blamed it on Able.
He served in the United
States Army Air Corps during World War II; earning a Purple
Heart during his service.
Attended and graduated from
New York University in New York City.
Attended and graduated with honors from the University of
Iowa in Iowa City.
Robert Ellenstein, an actor
and director with a varied career, including a long list of
Los Angeles theater productions over several decades. He was
the first artistic director of the Company of Angels,
co-founder and artistic director of the Los Angeles
Repertory Company and a founding member of Theatre West in
Hollywood. He was also a respected director of regional
theater productions, notably the Shakespeare plays Hamlet
― The Comedy of Errors ― Romeo and Juliet.
He launched his Hollywood
career during the mid-1950, appearing on live TV episodes of
the programs Robert Montgomery Presents ― The
United States Steel Hour ― Climax! and many
others. He made his motion picture debut in Rogue Cop
(1954), and had roles in The Garment Jungle (1957)
― 3:10 to Yuma (1957) ― Hitchcock's classic
North by Northwest ― Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
(1986). His extensive stage highlights included
co-starring with Juliet Prowse in the national tour of
Irma La Douce during the 1960s.
Is one of only 31 actors and actresses to have worked on both the
original Star Trek (1966) (up to and including Star
Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) and then in one of the
spin-offs.

Dick Elliott as Hardiman the apple guy
in
Day of the Hunter.
He has appeared in over
240 movies. Many times he played a Mayor, Judge,
Policeman/Sheriff and other people in authority. He also had
several roles as a newspaper editor/reporter/photographer. You probably remember him best as Mayor Pike on
The Andy Griffith
Show. At one time or another he played Santa Claus on the Jimmy
Durante, Red Skelton and Jack Benny shows.
