This is a list of character actors whose last name
ending in the letter P has appeared on The Rifleman — One Time Only.
Whether they have appeared one time only or 168 times, they are just as
important as the main characters and/or anyone else involved in The
Rifleman. This is just a small tribute to those great many characters
actors.
This section of character actors is dedicated to each & everyone one of
the
character actors that
appeared on
The Rifleman. They're among the most popular and
recognizable actors. They may not be A-list stars, but they do something
many actors don't. They worked all the time.

Vic Perrin as Osborne in
The Mind Reader.
Vic Perrin as Ed Osborne. He was the one who was stealing the booze
in back of the Last Chance and also witnessed the murder.
Vic Perrin was a actor, announcer and
voice-over artist and occasionally wrote scripts for television. His
career spanned forty-six years. He is best remembered for having provided the "Control Voice" in the
original version of the television series
The Outer Limits.
The Outer Limits Control Voice
Graduated from the University of Wisconsin before working for ABC radio.
Began his show business career doing radio work in his native Wisconsin
during the 1940s and 1950s. He also did several episodes for Gunsmoke
(CBS Radio series 1952-1961) and wrote at least one script for that
show.
One of his first TV roles was in a 1953 episode of Adventures of
Superman titled The Golden Vulture, where he played a hapless sailor
on board a freighter run by a self-styled pirate. One of his greatest
voiceovers, and a true legacy, is that his is the voice used on the AED
(Automatic External Defibrillator) used all over the nation to save
lives. On camera, Perrin played minor character roles on numerous TV
series in the 1950s and 1960s including Dragnet ― Gunsmoke ― Have Gun —
Will Travel, The Untouchables, Mannix and Mission:
Impossible. He was a
regular voice-over in the original Jonny Quest cartoon series (as the
voice of Dr. Zin and other villains). He voiced the villain, The
Gimmick, in an episode of Blue Falcon.

Sergeant Preston of the Yukon (TV Series 1955-1958)
Provided the original voice for
Spaceship Earth at Walt Disney World's
EPCOT.

Jack Perry as a Townsmen in The Challenge.
Jack Perry's career spanned over thirty
years, with one and seventy-three movies and eighteen TV Series.
He is known for his work on The Garden of Eatin' (1929) ―
Celebrity (1928) ― Doomed to Win (1931).

Joseph Perry as Tanner in
The Illustrator.
Joseph Perry played Tanner. He was Ben Travis' friend.
He also appeared with Chuck in
Branded

A Taste of Poison.
Joseph Perry's
career spanned almost half a century. He studied acting at UCLA and
got his start on television with the Chevron Hall of Stars in
1956. Perry appeared in over 150 separate productions over the
course of his lifetime. In the late 1950s and early '60s, Perry
appeared in several TV Westerns including Zane Grey Theater ―
Rawhide ― Wanted Dead or Alive ― Bonanza ― Death Valley Days ―
Daniel Boone and The Guns of Will Sonnett.
Perry appeared on
The F.B.I. and would go on to appear in six more. He had a
supporting role in the 1977 Gene Hackman thriller, The Domino
Principle, his first major film. Perry continued as a character
actor into the '80s, appearing on shows like the cop comedy
Barney Miller ― Night Court and MacGyver.
It was on the
series Everybody Loves Raymond that he got his biggest break,
when he gained the role of Nemo, a pizza restaurant owner. He
started playing the role in 1998 and it lasted until his death in
early 2000. His character's last appearance in Everybody Loves
Raymond was shown posthumously when his restaurant got bought
out. Nemo's last two appearances were played by Robert Ruth.

Michael Petit, a
child actor got his start in Goodyear Theatre,1959 TV
Series . He later went on to do The Andy Griffith Show ― The
Munsters ― The Man From U.N.C.L.E. ― Rawhide ― Gunsmoke ― Mr. Novak
― Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea ― Bonanza ― Dr. Kildare ― The
Fugitive ― The Travels of Jamie McPheeters ― Combat! Grindl The
