This is a list of character actors whose last name ending in the letter W has appeared on The Rifleman One Time Only. Whether they have appeared one time only or 168 times, they are just as important as the main characters and/or anyone else involved in The Rifleman. This is just a small tribute to those great many characters actors.
This section of character actors is dedicated to each & everyone one of the character actors that appeared on The Rifleman.
 They're among the most popular and recognizable actors. They may not be A-list stars, but they do something many actors don't. They worked all the time.

Frank Wilcox as Colonel Cass in The Sheridan Story.

Frank Wilcox appeared in more than 150 films and nearly 200 episodes on television.
He first started out in 1936 in the film Postal Inspector as a Postmaster General. His last appearance was in the TV Series Kung Fu (1973).

Some of Frank's memorable roles are  from The Beverly Hillbillies, as John Brewster (19621966), as the president and CEO of the OK Oil Company, headquartered in Tulsa, who purchases the oil rights to the gusher on the Clampett home back in the hills.
Beecher Asbury in The Untouchables (TV Series) (1959 - 1963), the United States Attorney for Chicago.

Wilcox appeared in three Best Picture Academy Award winners: Gentleman's Agreement (1947), All the King's Men (1949) and The Greatest Show on Earth (1952).

Before film and television Frank Wilcox appeared on stage 1931 - 1935. He studied at the Pasadena Community Playhouse alongside George Reeves, who was among his closest friends. He was best man at Reeves's wedding and they appeared in eleven films together.

He atteneded University of Kansas, Benedictine College.

 Guy Wilkerson as the sheriff who ran Fallon
& his gang out of town in The Boarding House.

Guy Wilkerson was a former vaudevillian and burlesque performer when he began making films in 1937.

His career spanned thirty -five years with over two hundred credits.and is known for his roles in B-Western films, he often played sidekicks or comedy relief parts. Wilkerson played Panhandle Perkins in all 22 films between 1942 - 1945.

He appeared in the 1962 film classic, To Kill A Mockingbird with Paul Fix

He had appeared in several TV Series in recurring roles: Petticoat Junction ― Death Valley Days

Robert B. Williams as Harrison in
The Silent Knife.

His career spanned 37-year, and over 150 feature films, as well as numerous film shorts, television films, and television shows, leaving him with a total of three hundred and thirty-three credits. He first appeared in Mixed Policies (Short) (1936). His last appeares was in the TV Series, Fernwood Tonight (1977).

Many of his recurring roles were in: Gunsmoke ― The Virginian
Bonanza Rawhide Outlaws Cheyenne Tales of Wells Fargo Lassie Hazel The New Phil Silvers Show Jim Backus Show Dennis the Menace  One Step Beyond and Perry Mason, among many others.

He was an actor, known for The Killing (1956), Pillow Talk (1959) and Hang 'Em High (1968).
