I couldn't find any birth or death information on Ian Murray, but I notice the last things he did was The Rifleman 1959 ― 1960 and the last episode he appeared in was 'The Illustrator' which aired 12/13/60. I wonder if he might have passed away in late 1960's, maybe 1961. Because he never appeared again on The Rifleman. I think this character would have been on the show a lot more if he would have been able.

This episode Six Years and a Day aired 1/3/61 with H. K. Dawson as Hannaberry.
