Morrow appeared in two episodes of The Rifleman ―
The
Angry Gun as Johnny Cotton, he's the cowboy who took Lucas' rifle
and money ― Letter of the Law as Brett Stocker,
he was the cowboy who had double action handmade guns with the fancy gun handles. He
just had to come back and get them - that's what lead to his demise.
Although Vic Morrow had done many things, I would say was the TV series -
Combat as
Sergeant Chip Saunders is what he was best known for.
Vic Morrow was born February 14, 1929 in The Bronx, New York City, New York
He died on July 23, 1982 Indian Dunes, California in a helicopter accident
He was killed, along with two
Vietnamese child actors, in a freak accident on
the set of Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983) when
a hovering helicopter crashed landed on top of
them, in which the top rotor blades decapitated
Morrow and one of the children, and crushing to
death the second one.
